Well… for starters, you may want to swing by your local super store, I found a nice inexpensive one at Sears Grand a few months ago. It came with a mat that was easily removed.

I was challenged recently to come up with some interesting type to put on top of the fire from one of my free templates of the month.

The styles were created using fonts/layer styles and blending modes only, so they can be changed to any word on the fly. The special fonts are from dafont.com. Click the image on the right for a bigger view. Let me know if you want more detailed info about any of the techniques.
